The BEST Centre & Loughborough College Sport Mallorca
The BEST Centre Academy offers an “A” level equivalent BTEC Sport qualification delivered by Loughborough College in Mallorca, with a forward path onto universities around the world or a career in sport.
The multi-sport programme will be based at the BEST Centre in Colonia Sant Jordi, offering students access to world-class sports facilities and coaching.
Our students will combine sports training with academic study in an idyllic location. Loughborough College also offers a stand-alone sports education for students based on the island looking for an alternative to the Spanish Bachillerato.

Our goal is to help the young athletes become more independent minded and take responsibility for their lives. As well as pursuing their education and sporting ambitions, our learners will also become more resilient and ready for a life in the wider world by learning how to cook for themselves, clean up, wash their own clothes and, most important of all, carry their own kit bag.

Education Offer
The education will be provided by Loughborough College, one of the leading Sports Colleges in the UK.
The educational offer will comprise of the BTEC 90 credit Diploma in Sport (Development, Fitness and Coaching) in year 1 followed by the Extended Diploma in Sport (Development, Fitness and Coaching) in year 2.

Progression Routes
The BTEC course explores different areas of employment within the sports sector, giving students a broader knowledge base to benefit their career. Transferrable skills are also developed facilitating progression into employment and Higher Education study outside sport.

The Swim Programme will take place in the heated, outdoor Olympic pool at the BEST Centre.
Whatever your level, our coaches will work with you help you to meet your swimming goals. We have up to 10 x 2 hour swim sessions per week and gym and land work every day. Whether you are club, county, or national level, you are welcome in our swim programme. If you have the character to work hard, support your teammates, focus on your athletic and academic performance and want to commit to improving yourself, we want to hear from you!

The Triathlon Programme will take place at one of the best locations in the world for triathlon training. The world-class facilities include:
- Outdoor, Olympic Pool
- Gym
- Soft running trails
- Running track
- Transition training area
- Crystal clear open water with beach entry and exits

Our Football Programme will aim to give all players a thorough understanding of the game, the skills and fitness to be attractive to any individual that would like to take their football skills to the next level.

Our Tennis Programme will take place on the clay, hard and carpet courts all located a short walk from the residencia and classroom. You will be on court for 12 hours a week, as well as 6 hours of strength & conditioning a week.
Colònia Sant Jordi Mallorca
Colònia Sant Jordi is a small town, nestling in the southeast corner of Mallorca in the municipality of Ses Salinas. It is renowned for its golden sand, crystal water and peaceful setting. The town is surrounded entirely by a national park.
The port is the main hub of the town, and is located on the east side of the town, less than a five minute walk from the accommodation. Here you can relax in a cafe and gaze out across the boats and beaches of Es Dolç and Es Carbó. There are restaurants, gift shops and banks.
